Character Design Commission
About the designs:
1. Sleek and elegant. The tar covers her limbs in resemblance to the boots and gloves around her arms in the original design. Jewelry inspired by constellations (lines and stars) cover her body. In this example they're asymmetrical.
2. Voluminous. The dress wraps around her, inspired by the flow and volume of ocean waves. Lines of tar stain the fabric, as if there's so much tar on her body that it's squeezing out. The underside of her dress drips and covers her legs entirely. I can add teeth under the dress in similarity to the reference design, if necessary. Her arms and chest are covered in golden detail.
3. Drenched. This was inspired by final girls in horror movies covered in blood. Her dress is long and wet (the ocean theme playing a bit here) and tar covers her upper body entirely. The cracks on her bare legs have the same shapes as constellations.
4. Horror. A chasm is opened in her chest, surrounded by teeth. It ripped the upper part of her dress, pieces of clothing and jewelry stuck to the sharp teeth. The jewelry is the same as in the 1st design, tho placed more symmetrically. Large golden eyes emerge across her arms, matching the ones on her hat, seeping tar as well.
5. Ocean. Her dress is inspired by the patterns waves make upon reaching the shore, but reversed in color. That pattern is now a result of tar that covers her legs and dwells under her dress, slipping upwards her clothing in those patterns. This design is a mix of the gold in the 2nd design and the jewelry of the 1st.
